PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imager capable of determining a subject having high possibility of user's intention as a main subject even when a plurality of subjects exist. SOLUTION: When a plurality of faces detected by face detection processing exist, it is necessary to determine which face is to be applied to the operation of an exposure value. Generally, a photographer takes a picture of a person to be a subject while talking with the subject. Thereby main subject determination processing determines a face whose mouth is moving when human voice is detected as a main subject.
