<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer paper for sublimable ink-jet printing, which has an excellent property of drying sublimable printing ink when printing is performed on the transfer paper for sublimable ink-jet printing by using the sublimable printing ink and which is excellent in image reproducibility and transfer efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer paper for sublimable ink-jet printing is provided with: a base material; and a sublimable printing ink receiving layer arranged on the surface of the base material and is characterized in that transfer information is recorded on the sublimable printing ink receiving layer by ink-jet recording and the recorded transfer information is heated and sublimed into the object to be transferred to form a transferred image. The sublimable printing ink receiving layer comprises a water-soluble resin, a minute particle based on synthetic amorphous silica, and a cationic compound and has 0.5-3.5 Meq/g cation density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
