PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technology for executing distortion aberration correction processing without omission of a subject's face or non-detection of the face. SOLUTION: The image processing device includes an image processing means which performs image processing with shape change of the outer edge of image data; a face detection means which detects a face area included in the image data; a comparison means which compares face detection results related to the image data before and after the image processing; and a parameter change means which changes a parameter of the image processing according to the comparison result by the comparison means.
