PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the jam of sheets, corner folding, and the failure of forming an image in both modes, when an image forming device has both of a mode forming a multiplex image on the same surface of the sheet and a mode forming images on both faces. SOLUTION: A curl correcting unit 23 is provided which corrects a curl caused by a fixing unit 18 when a double-face image forming mode is selected. The curl correcting instrument 23 is provided in a carrying pass 40 which is a part except for common parts of the multiplex image forming carrying passes 21, 35, 37, 25 and double-face image forming carrying passes 21, 35, 38, 40, 25.
