PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily reduce a frequency error while continuing proper demodulation processing when the frequency error occurs. SOLUTION: A signal level is detected by a signal level detection section 132, and a frequency error is detected by a frequency error detection section. In the case where an error detection result DF is within a synchronization allowable range corresponding to a level detection result SL, a frequency control section 133 determines the error detection result as a correction amount and in the case where the error detection result DF is out of the synchronization allowable range corresponding to the level detection result SL, the frequency control section determines a value for minimizing the frequency error after correction of a frequency shift amount, within the synchronization allowable range, as a correction amount. Furthermore, in the case where the level detection result SL is lower than a reception sensitivity level, the frequency control section 133 determines the error detection result DF as a correction amount. Continuously, the frequency control section 133 generates a frequency control signal AFC, which designates a frequency for which a frequency shift amount is corrected just by the determined correction amount, and supplies it to an RF processing unit 120.
