<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target supporting device capable of suppressing irregular drying of a target subjected to the recording by depositing liquid thereon while executing the adsorption for ensuring the flatness of the target in a target conveying process, a target conveying device having the target supporting device, and a recorder having the target supporting device or the target conveying device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The target supporting device has a platen 30 having a supporting surface 30a capable of supporting a recording paper P to be conveyed from the upstream side to the downstream side, and has at least one suction hole 31 formed on the supporting surface 30a out of suction holes 31 capable of generating the negative pressure when suction is made. The suction holes 31 are formed on the supporting surface 30a of the platen 30 consecutively over the entire area in the width direction orthogonal to the conveying direction of the recording paper P on the supporting surface 30a when viewed from the conveying direction of the recording paper P.
