<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing with a long life even when it is used at high-speed rotation, in which d<SB>m</SB>n exceeds 1,400,000. <P>SOLUTION: A ball 3 of a rolling bearing is made of a silicon nitride sintered compact whose thermal conductivity at a normal temperature is 40W/(mK) or more. Accordingly, friction heat generated on a rolling contact face between the ball 3 and inner and outer rings is quickly dispersed to the inside from the surface of the ball 3 and immediately eliminated from the rolling contact face, causing little damage such as seizure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
