<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a screening system of an anticancer agent by clarifying the meaning of the transcription factor Nrf2 as a target of the anticancer agent. <P>SOLUTION: A candidate compound inhibiting the expression of a reporter gene is selected as an estimated proliferation inhibitor of human lung cancer by preparing an expression vector containing a promoter sequence controlled by the transcription factor Nrf2, and the reporter gene functionally linked to the sequence, transfecting the expression vector to a human cell which has mutation in Keap1 gene or in which the expression level of the Keap1 protein is reduced, measuring the expression level of the reporter gene by culturing the transfected cell in the presence or absence of the candidate compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
