PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volumetric flowmeter with a pair of non-circular gears each performing a rolling contact allowing no slide on a pitch line. SOLUTION: The volumetric flowmeter is provided with a casing 3 and a pair of rotors 1, 2 which are disposed in the casing 3 so as to be rotatable around axial centers 4, 5. The pair of rotors 1, 2, have a tooth profile curve which is an oval pitch curve line itself having a trajectory of contact points on the pitch line, and they satisfy the following condition of: r<SB>1</SB>+r<SB>2</SB>=K=constant, and r<SB>1</SB>×dθ<SB>1</SB>=r<SB>2</SB>×dθ<SB>2</SB>, wherein the radius of the oval pitch curved line is r<SB>i</SB>=a/(1-bcosnθ<SB>i</SB>), (i=1, 2), in this regard, however the radius r<SB>i</SB>(i=1, 2) is a distance from the rotation center to the over pitch curved line, and a, b, n andθ<SB>i</SB>(i=1, 2) represent homothetic coefficient, flatness, a number of lobes and a moving angle, respectively.
