<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement treating base material capable of efficiently decomposing and treating excrement of animals with microorganisms, while effectively suppressing the generation of offensive odor. <P>SOLUTION: The excrement treating base material configured including wooden strips is made up of the wooden strips containing wooden fragments 10 or bark fragments 12 that are crushed into elongated shapes of slenderness ratio of 2 to 20 and the excrement of pigs and/or cows treated via aeration added thereto, wherein the total volume of the wooden fragments and/or bark fragments of the elongated shapes of the slenderness ratio of 2 to 20 occupies not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the wooden strips. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
