A document viewer extracting method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to apply highlight effect so as to distinguish a particular part from another part when a document viewer is operated, thereby improving document readability as magnifying a user's convenience. A document list is loaded according to an inputted key signal(S200). If a user selects at least one document, a controller expresses the selected document(S210). The controller searches whether highlight effect is set(S220). If so, the controller converts the document according to the set highlight effect(S230). The controller expresses the converted document through a display unit(S240).
