PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain low melting point glass which is used for coating electrodes, can form a glass coating layer on the electrode in a single layer structure, has a low dielectric constant, and does no require another coating on a driving circuit wiring portion. SOLUTION: This low melting point glass comprises 20 to 60 wt.% of PbO, 0 to 30 wt.% of Bi2O3, 20 to 55 wt.% of B2O3, 0 to 10 wt.% of SiO2, 0 to 15 wt.% of Al2O3, 0 to 35 wt.% of MgO+CaO, 0 to 35 wt.% of BaO, and 0 to 8 wt.% of ZnO. The low melting point glass preferably further contains SnO2 and/or CeO2 in an amount of <=4.8 wt.%. |
