This invention provides a compound represented by general formula (1): (1) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 each independently represent one group selected from a hydrogen atom and methyl, acetyl, hydroxyl, and alkoxy groups; and X represents an alkylene or alkenylene group. There is also provided a compound represented by general formula (2): (2) wherein R6, R7, R8, R9, and R10 each independently represent one group selected from a hydrogen atom and alkyl, acetyl, hydroxyl and alkoxy groups; A represents an oxygen atom or NH; m is 0 or 1; Y represents an alkylene or alkenylene group; and Z represents a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group. The above compounds are useful for the prevention and treatment of cerebral function disorders, motor function disorders, dysuria, etc. induced by degeneration/elimination of central nervous system or peripheral nervous system cells. |
