<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for decreasing the power consumption in cell searching with respect to the cell searching associated with a plurality of frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal compares an RSSI threshold value adaptively varied with an RSSI of a received signal, stops signal analysis processing for a signal of the threshold value or below, and stops processing for the cell searching associated with a concerned frequency band from the signal reception and RSSI measurement to signal analysis for a prescribed time when the signal analysis is not successful over a prescribed number of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
