PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device in which pixels have a narrow pitch and a high open area ratio without making manufacturing process complicated. SOLUTION: A scanning line, a data line, a transistor, and a storage capacitor are arranged in a light shield region arranged in the circumference of a pixel electrode 11, which is electrically connected to a semiconductor layer of a transistor through a first relay electrode layer 16 in the same layer with the data line and a second relay electrode layer 18 in the same layer with a fixed electrode layer 17; and the fixed electrode layer 17 has light shielding property and is parted in a first direction between adjacent data lines, the second relay electrode layer 18 is formed at the parting part while separated from the fixed electrode layer 17, and the 2nd-directional line width Lc1 of a portion of the fixed electrode layer 17 which is extended in the first direction is set narrower than the second-directional line width of the second relay electrode layer 18.
