<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of exerting stable supply of fresh liquid fuel and improvement of power generating efficiency, in a passive-type one supplying liquid fuel to electrodes of a fuel cell main body with the use of capillary force. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell A provided with a fuel storage tank 10 storing liquid fuel, a fuel supply body 30 making the fuel storage tank 10 supply the liquid fuel to electrodes 20, and an exhaust fuel recovery tank 40 recovering exhaust fuel consumed at the electrodes 20. A capillary force (T<SB>A</SB>) of a fuel storage body 10a is a force capable of supporting a height of the fuel storage body 10a, capillary force (T<SB>D</SB>) of the fuel supply body 30 is a force larger than is capable of absorbing the liquid fuel from the fuel storage body 10a, and capillary force (T<SB>F</SB>) collecting waste fuel of the exhaust fuel recovery body 40a is larger than that supporting the liquid fuel of the fuel storage body 10a, and yet, is strong enough to forcibly recovering the exhaust fuel consumed at the electrodes 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
