REMOTE OPERATION METHOD FOR MOBILE TERMINAL, REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM, AND MOBILE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable only the user of a mobile terminal to lock functions of his or her mobile terminal from an arbitrary terminal through an easy operation. SOLUTION: A storage section 13 of the mobile terminal 1 such as a mobile phone terminal is stored with face image data of the owner in advance and if the mobile terminal 1 is left behind or lost, electronic mail including the face image data of the owner is sent to his or her mobile terminal 1 from an arbitrary terminal to lock the functions of the mobile terminal 1. A face authentication section 113 of the mobile terminal 1 performs face authentication processing based on the face image data acquired by receiving the mail and the face image data in the storage section 13 and locks the terminal functions (performs a remote locking operation) only when the owner himself or herself of the mobile terminal 1 is determined.
