PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance, flexible dye sensitized solar cell.

SOLUTION: The flexible dye sensitized solar cell comprises: a semiconductor layer modified by a sensitizer provided on metal foil; an electrolyte layer containing a substance for indicating at least reversible electrochemical oxidation-reduction characteristics; and a counter electrode for fixing a metal mesh covered with a substance having catalysis to a transparent substrate to a substance for indicating the reversible electrochemical oxidation-reduction characteristics.
