PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating heat treatment device for identifying the performance of sealing devices. SOLUTION: The rotating heat treatment device comprises a cylindrical furnace 2 laid in approximate horizontal for giving rotating heat treatment to treated objects being transferred, an inlet hood 3 and an outlet hood 4 installed at both ends of the cylindrical furnace 2, and the sealing devices 7 between the cylindrical furnace 2 and each of the inlet hood 3 and the outlet hood 4. At least one oxygen concentration meter 30 is provided in an exhaust line 13 for measuring oxygen concentration in exhaust gas F2 to identify the sealing performance of the sealing devices 7 and actualize stable heat treatment.
