<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material capable of providing a high color-developing density and effectively preventing image printing from being obstructed caused by inferiority of heat transfer. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material is provided with a thermal recording layer comprising a color developing component A and a color developing component B reacting with the color developing component A to form a color developer, and in which the color developing component A is isolated from the color developing component B by making the color developing component A existing in a polymer structure, on a substrate. The thermal recording material has a ratio a/b (mass ratio) of 0.10-0.33 when the amount of coating of a polymer constituting the polymer structure and a compound isolated by the polymer structure is made to be "a" among compounds constituting the thermal recording layer, and the amount of coating of the compounds under a molten state at a temperature where the thermal recording layer develops a color among the compounds which are not converted to the amount of coating "a" is made to be "b". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
