PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of properly stopping a pointer (cursor) displayed on a screen in a target position without any overrun when a stick is tilted for moving the pointer (cursor) and stopping it in the target position. SOLUTION: This input device is provided with a buffer part 21 capable of storing a plurality of sensor variations and a data control part 22. When the sensor variation stored in the buffer part 21 is reduced under a predetermined condition, subtraction computing and the like of the stored sensor variation is carried out, and the subtracted sensor variation is transmitted to a mobile data processing part. In this way, overshooting of the pointer beyond the target stopping position is reduced in comparison with a conventional one, and the pointer can be effectively stopped in the target position easily.
