PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device having a structure suitable for illumination of only desired push buttons, as a mobile terminal device with a telephone function such as a mobile telephone set. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device is equipped with a plurality of push buttons 201 made of a material scattering and transmitting light, LEDs 222a and 222b which are arranged on back sides of the push buttons and illuminate in a 1st illumination mode wherein only specified push buttons 201a and 210b among the plurality of push buttons 201 are made to illuminate, and a light shield wall 223 which surrounds backs of the specified push buttons 201a and 210b to prevent the push buttons 222 other than the specified push buttons 201a and 210b from illuminating with light beams from the LEDs 222a and 222b.
