PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storing device for carrying out time certification of stored data easily. SOLUTION: A storing server 105 displays stored digital data on user's information processing device 103 via a network 101. When the user selects the data and requests time certification thereof, the storing server 105 requires time certification of a time certification server 104 via the network 101. The storing server 105 forms data, which cannot be edited, by embedding the received time stamp, which is received from time certification, in the digital data and stores it. When each data format of selected data, data, which can be edited, or data, which cannot be edited, is selected by the user, the data is transmitted in the selected data format to user's information processing unit 103.
