PURPOSE: An electronic apparatus and a communication control method are provided to increase the number of apparatuses to be searched for, when an undesired apparatus is searched for or no apparatus responds to the first inquiry, and to carry out a re-inquiring process, thereby searching for a desired apparatus without operating the searching process by a user. CONSTITUTION: A DSC(1) comprises as follows. A camera block(11) is used for photographing. A signal processing LSI(12) carries out an analog-digital conversion of a photographed image signal or a data format conversion. A memory(13) temporarily stores image data. A reader/writer unit(14) performs a reading/writing process on a detachable memory card(14a). A monitor(15) displays an image. An input unit(16) inputs a user operation. A control microcomputer(17) controls the entire DSC(1). A Bluetooth module(18) for wirelessly communicating with an external apparatus is connected to the control microcomputer(17).
