<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a device for advising event information wherein, when event information generated in the device accumulates and finally overflows, event information of high importance as well as that of low importance is handled as an object to be erased, and information advised by a printer is biased to a newly generated event group or to an old one, on a time scale. <P>SOLUTION: Priority levels are determined by the contents of events to protect events of high priority from being lost when event information overflows, and thinning processing is executed at time intervals to prevent a bias of advised information on a time scale. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
