<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a follow printer of a rotary press enabling continued stable follow printing without loading an operator with a large burden and causing a register correction roller to go out of a register correcting range, and to provide its follow printing method. <P>SOLUTION: A web feed roller 13 is provided to an upper stream side of a flow of a printing unit capable of overprinting. A register mark of a preceding printing and a register mark of the overprinting are detected with a register mark-detecting sensor 38. A shift amount between the register marks is corrected with the register correcting roller 35. A peripheral speed is obtained so that the web feed roller 13 is contained within a reference register correcting range from positional information at start of overprinting and in printing of a specific length of the register correcting roller 35 which is detected with a detector 37 for register correcting roller position.
