<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening apparatus for a vehicle, which enables switching from a state wherein the door can be manually opened to a state wherein the door is automatically opened, through simple operations. <P>SOLUTION: This door opening apparatus for the vehicle 50 is equipped with the door 52, door handles 54 and 55 which are provided on the door 52, a door opening driving means for automatically opening the door 52, and a control means for controlling the door opening driving means. The control means is constituted so that the door opening driving means can be kept in the mode of manually opening the door, when it is determined that the detected degree of the opening of the door 52 is greater than a preset degree of opening α, and so that the door opening driving means can be driven and controlled by switching from the mode of manually opening the door to the mode of automatically opening the door, when it is determined that the degree of the opening α of the door 52 in the return operations of the door handles 54 and 55 is not greater than the preset degree of the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
