PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler for a motor which is high in cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: This cooler comprises a jacket 3 and a jacket 4 which are provided with cooling passages 9E, 9D, 9C, 9B, and 9A for allowing coolant for cooling a motor generator 2A to circulate, and further with a coolant supply port 7a for supplying the cooling passages 9E, 9D, 9C, 9B, and 9A with coolant, thus leading the coolant supply port 7A to the cooling passages 9E, 9D, 9C, 9B, and 9A.
