INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of data in a communications channel while collateralizing the secrecy of the data.

SOLUTION: A display device 100 includes a display panel 110 which displays information and a display driver 120 which receives coded data for performing display on the display panel 110 and which makes information to be displayed on the panel 110 by controlling the panel 110 based on the received coded data. A display driver 120 includes a decoder which decodes and processes the coded data which are received from the outside of the display device 100 and a preparation circuit for preparing information for controlling the display panel 110. The display device 100 is formed by unifying the display panel 110 and the display driver 120.
