<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painted golf ball which has an appearance superior in fashionability and feeling of premium and is superior in durability for repeated impacts. <P>SOLUTION: The painted golf ball is covered with paint on the surface of the golf ball body and the paint contains a polarizing material. For proper performance of the invention, it is desired that the paint includes a coloring agent other than white, that the surface of the ball body is colored in other color than white, the L<SP>*</SP>value which is intensity based on L<SP>*</SP>a<SP>*</SP>b<SP>*</SP>color system is 50 or less, that the polarizing material is metal foil or mica foil, and that a polarizing material of 0.5 to 10.0 parts by weight is included to a resin solid of 100 parts by weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
