<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of easily cleaning a portion of an air duct close to an air fan on depth side. <P>SOLUTION: A conduit 7 for guiding air sent from an air fan 2 to a blow-off outlet 4 is constructed with a double structure casing 15. The casing 15 consists of an outside casing 15a and an inside casing 15b. The inside casing 15b is slidably mounted on the front side of the outside casing 15a. Upon cleaning the inside casing 15b is slided, and the interior side is pulled out for its cleaning. Otherwise, the inside casing 15b is taken out from an instrument body 1 for its cleaning.
