PURPOSE: Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium cell which has excellent overcharge stability and can prevent the decreasing of the standard capacity and improve high rate capacity and the life of the cell. CONSTITUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a lithium salt as a solute in an organic solvent is characterized by comprising the compound of the formula 1 in the amount of 0.1 to 20 wt% based on the total weight of the electrolyte solution: wherein each R is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group, a nitro group or an amine group.
