PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor which is simple in structure, can be easily manufactured at a low cost, is suitable for making the cross-sectional size smaller and can appropriately perform even in the case of being bent and arranged in a great curvature. SOLUTION: The pressure sensor has a plurality of bar-like distance members 15 with the insulating property, which are made of an elastic insulating material (e.g. a resin, a rubber or the like), longitudinal interposed between an elastic conductive tube 11 used as an external electrode and a central electrode member 13 being disposed therein and spaced in the surrounding direction. When the pressure is applied, the elastic conductive tube 11 comes into contact with the central electrode member 13 through the space sections formed between each distance members 15, and then the pressure is detected.
