<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner having excellent fluidity, charge rising property, uniformity and environmental stability of charges by using in org. fine particles prepared by hydrophobic-treating an inorg. fine particle base material stepwise. SOLUTION: In this toner formed by adding inorg. fine particles externally, the inorg. fine particles is the toner for developing an electrostatic change image where the inorg. fine particles has a hydrophobicity degree distribution which is obtained by performing an inorg. fine particle base material stepwise to a hydrophobic treatment in which the material is hydrophobic-treated with an agent to impart hydrophobicity and thereafter further, the inorg. fine particle material is added and mixed. First, while the specified amt. of inorg. fine powder is stirred by a blender or the like, a hydrophobicity-imparting agent or its diluted mixture soln. is dropped or is added by being sprayed and sufficiently mixed. Then, the specified amt. of the inorg. fine powder is further added and sufficiently stirred. By adding the inorg. fine powder stepwise as the above described to the hydrophobicity-imparting agent, the distribution of hydrophobicity degree is imparted.</p> |
