PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container with a pressure reduction phenomenon prevented wherein the container itself does not deform even when a temperature of a packaged object sealed in the container lowers. SOLUTION: The packaging container including a container body 1 having a storage dent for the object to be packaged and a lid 2 tightly fitted with an inner peripheral surface or an outer peripheral surface of the container body 1 has at least one slit S provided on an internal wall of a fitting portion of the lid 2 with the container body 1.
