PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking tool having a function of informing distinctly, safely, and still without causing discomfort of a point of time of optimum cooking conditions in a cooking pot used by heating with a heater. SOLUTION: A cooking tool 1 comprising a heater 2 and a cooking pot 11 heated by a heater 2, wherein a water receiving vessel 15 is so arranged in the cooking pot 11 that the temperature of accommodated feed water 17 rises with a rise in the temperature of the cooking pot 11, an accommodating vessel for dry ice 18 is so placed that its inside communicates with that of the water receiving vessel 15, the feed water 17 comes in contact with dry ice 23 in the accommodating vessel for dry ice 18 via a communicating portion based on a rise of the temperature of the feed water 17 in the water receiving vessel 15, and white smoke resulting from this contact induced reaction is ejected to the outside via an ejection hole 19 placed in the accommodating vessel for dry ice 18.
