<p>Good transmission of audio data in various formats is realized. When data in units of a predetermined data length is transmitted in a predetermined format between devices connected through a predetermined transmission channel, label data representing the type of the transmitted audio data is placed at the beginning of the data of a predetermined data length, sub-label data is placed after the label data if required, and data accompanying the audio data is placed. Therefore the audio data type can be easily identified by the data receiving device.</p> |
