<p>Converters are used to convert a digital signal into an analogue signal or vice versa. In audio reproduction systems oversampled converters are used in combination with a digital upsampling low pass filter followed by either an analogue time continuous or time discrete low pass filter which is needed to remove the remaining high frequency content of the output signal. To obtain an output signal with a bandwidth which is as broad as possible the invention provides a converter with variable ratio of the different sampling frequencies.</p> |
