PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a measuring time by using two types of eluants or more different in eluting forces for the measurement of one specimen and injecting the (N+1)th specimen before the inside of a column reaches equilibrium by an eluant used at the start of the measurement of the (N+1)th specimen after the measurement of the Nth specimen. SOLUTION: Two types of eluants or more different in eluting forces for the measurement of one specimen are used, and the (N+1)th specimen is injected before the inside of a column reaches equilibrium by an eluant used at the start of the measurement of the (N+1)th specimen after the measurement of the Nth specimen. In addition, at the time of separating hemoglobin Ala and Alb in the (N+1)th specimen, the inside of the column does not reaches an equilibrium state by an eluant used at the start of the measurement of the (N+1)th specimen. Buffer solutions different at least either in pH or in salt concentration are used as eluants different in eluting forces. Either a gradient elution method or a stepwise elution method may be used as an eluting method.
