PURPOSE: A method of resetting the rotational frequency of an exhaust fan is provided to prevent a boiler from stopping even in slight environmental change by resetting the rotational frequency of an exhaust fan depending on the kind of exhaust fans. CONSTITUTION: A rotational frequency of an exhaust fan is detected per certain time and stored by rotating the exhaust fan before a boiler operates. The sum of the rotational frequency is divided by the set number(N), and the average rotational frequency is produced and stored if the rotational frequency reaches the set number(N). Then, the differential rotational frequency between the average rotational frequency and each rotational frequency is produced and decided if the differential rotational frequency is in a random dispersion range. The average rotational frequency is set and stored as the reference rotational frequency of the exhaust fan if there is no rotational frequency out of the dispersion range. Finally, the differential rotational frequency out of the dispersion range is thrown away, the rotational frequency of the exhaust fan is detected as much as the thrown dispersion range, and the average rotational frequency is produced.
