PURPOSE: A device for preventing radiance of a rear vehicle is provided to turn off a brake lamp in stopping a vehicle despite of idle of an engine in travelling for preventing radiance of a driver boarding on the rear vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A brake lamp(20) is turned on in stepping on a brake pedal(40) while a tail light(10) is turned on by manipulating of a light control switch in travelling at night. A vehicle speed sensor(80) detects a stopping state of a vehicle despite of idle of an engine in perfectly stepping on the brake pedal while setting a gear in a neutral state. Thereby, a control unit(90) shorts an electric circuit engaged with a brake lamp switch(50) by actuating a solenoid switch(100) to turn on the brake lamp. Moreover, radiance of a driver boarding on a rear vehicle is not generated despite approaching the rear vehicle to a front vehicle.
