Stand for support of stationary bicycle

A bicycle stand may be fastened to a bicycle in order to guarantee its being held it in an almost vertical position while the bicycle is stationary. It is movable from the rest position into the supporting position and back by a force transmission device which can be released or operated by the rider himself while he sits on the saddle. Separate telescopic stand units (2,3) extend to the left and right of the front wheel, and may be mounted on the axle connecting the wheel to the frame of the bicycle. Both bicycle stands can be moved by circuitry mounted on the handlebars. The user of the bicycle can operate this circuitry while sitting on the saddle of the bicycle.
