摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select and segment the desired part of an image. SOLUTION: A decoder 1 outputs a motion vector (h) of each macro block and an updating timing (i) which is the decoding end timing of the macro block inside an area specified by a panscan parameter (1) and a selected area size (f) to a maximum value detection circuit 7. A holding circuit 11 becomes zero at a frame head timing, is updated to the value of the output of a selection circuit 9 when updating timing signals (i) are inputted and detects a motion vector maximum value (j) inside a selected area by each frame. A cumulative adder 15 is reset to zero when an area selection timing (d) is inputted and cumulatively adds the motion vector maximum values (j) every time the frame end timing of frame timing signals (c) is detected thereafter and the cumulatively added motion vector maximum value (k) is added to the initial value (e) of the panscan parameter and supplied to the decoder 1 and a digital video interface(DVIF) 5 as the panscan parameter (1).</p>
