The steel cassette (10), insertable into a ground excavation (12), has two longitudinal walls (13',13''), two front walls, and a bottom (15). The longitudinal walls have an inner (16) and a spaced outer wall (14), forming a cavity (53) which can be fitted through a top aperture with a hardenable material. The outer wall is an integral part of the cassette, or formed by removable shuttering planks. Pref. the cavity between the inner and outer wall is open at the top over the entire length of the side walls. The bottom may also be jacketed, with its cavity connected to that of the side walls.
