LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the function of a liquid crystal display device mounted on an indoor equipment main body of an air conditioner in order to indicate the operating states and environment of the air conditioner. SOLUTION: A back-light illumination signal transmitted from a remote controller is received at a remote control signal receiver section 3 and is converted to an illumination level of the back-light at the back-light illumination level generator section 5. The voltage which responds with the back-light illumination level at a back-light drive section 6 is applied to a back-light 7, thereby illumination a liquid crystal panel 2a mounted on an indoor equipment main body of an air conditioner.
