A collapsible stand for hanging objects from is constructed from a flat base plate (1) which houses a first set of elongated components (2) for hanging the objects and a second set of elongated components (3) which form the support for resting the stand on the floor. When the stand is collapsed, both sets of components lie parallel and within the base plate. Unfolding the stand results in the second set of components forming legs to support the stand above the floor, whilst the first set of components are slid outwards. |
