PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for a sliding part excellent in an initial strength and elongation, a strength and elongation after impregnation in a degradation oil, a coefficient of dynamic friction and a comparative abrasion quantity at the same time by adding acrylic particles swelled with a lubricating oil to a specific maleimide-based resin. SOLUTION: This resin composition is composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. of a maleimide-based resin containing formula I (e.g. N-methylmaleimide) and formula II (e.g. isobutene) and (B) 5-50 pts.wt. of acrylic particulate resin swelled with a lubricating oil. Further, the component B is a spherical powdery polymer obtained e.g. by emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization, in concrete having particle diameters within the range of 10-50μm, and the constituting component of the component B is preferably glycidyl methacrylate, etc.
