Motor vehicle ABS braking system, particular for motor racing sport

The braking system has a servo which applies brake force to the master cylinder (10) and with a brake control valve block (12) to control the wheel brakes. The servo force applies the brakes to the limit of wheel skid where the ABS control operates. The braking is activated by a control switch leaving the driver' foot on the throttle pedal. The brake control, with ABS, can be operated by a switch (64) on the steering wheel. Alternately, it can be initiated by a combination of the switch and a lifting of the throttle pedal. In either case the braking can be left to the last moment when cornering in motor sport.
