FIELD: mining; may be used in open pits of deep types. SUBSTANCE: novelty in construction of permanent flank consists in that horizontal safety berms are replaced with inclined safety berms only on path of ramps; idle and load branches of motor access ramps are combined with separate inclined safety berms, and located on side slopes of motor access ramps are ramps to horizontal safety berms for their mechanized cleaning. EFFECT: cut down expenditures for open pit development due to simplification of work involved in formation of open pit flank and increase of its angle of inclination. 1 dwg
