PURPOSE:To reduce the number of heat radiating devices and the size of a stepping motor used as various kinds of driving sources and its driver by changing the driving current of the stepping motor in accordance with a load so that the motor can be appropriately driven even when the load largely varies and preventing the heat generation from the motor and driver due to unnecessary size enlargement of the motor and driver. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor driver is provided with a control section 21 which decides the electric current supplied to a stepping motor 29 based on current value information stored in advance in pattern storing sections 23a, 23b,... in accordance with the load variation of the motor 29 and changes the driving current of the motor 29 in accordance with the load. |
